Sliding Wedge End (Fits Std. Gate Key w/ Mud Slots)

One of the original style tools for engaging and turning valves with a rounded off operating nuts. The tapered sliding wedges, by gravity, slide and bind against 2 sides of the valve nut, allowing the gate to operate.

Made to attach to any gate key with an open mud relief slot above the 2″ wrench socket. It attaches through the mud slot with a snap pin (supplied). Made for 2″ operating nuts, but other sizes are available upon request (such as 1¾” M.W.R.A. OP. nut). Coated black.
